ABSTRACT:

The growth of small and medium (SMEs) sectors is vital in order to achieve a balanced economic growth. This sector solves the problems of poverty and unemployment by providing employment with lower investments. The purpose of the study is to present a literature review which describes some important factors that affect small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).Factors such as regulation and policies, facility location, intensity of competition, stage of industry, financial difficulties, and the attitudes of banks towards new business owners are important influential factors in SMEs success. The sales are the most significant measure of success.
