ABSTRACT:

Abstract - In this paper, the researcher has discussed in detail several factors related to active listening like the listening distractors (noise or speech of others), listener’s mood, listeners performance, different levels of listening, listers active contribution, etc. This research describes the meaning and the stages of the reading process. The researcher has referred to several theories and practices. The research provides concepts and propositions for learners in understanding essays.
