ABSTRACT:

The pioneering variation that occurred in ICT (Information and Communication Technology)has dramatically affected the modern educational framework as well as the means of dissemination of education,educating, research and erudition primarily on the conception, storing and delivery of knowledge by the academies. Due to changes in IT as part of the digital revolution,there has been a drastic growth in the libraries and other knowledge markets. Growth of WWW (World Wide Web), or technology as a portal play a vital role in ‘Knowledge Management’ when it comes to libraries. The aim of the research is presenting the Library Portal as a conception, its uses as well as several e-resources and facilities of Library Portal and to carry out daily transactions with use of Computers. Likewise, the aim is about making the readers accustomed with NIBM Library Portalhow it could carry out information and changes in the Banking Industry. The main purpose of thearticleis studying in detail about the matters of NIBM Library Portal and finding out the portal’s weaknesses and strengths. Information available in the library is not restricted to members but also contribute to some extend in the research areas. For operational user facilities,the important part that the library website plays and the different types of contents that exist inside them play are the key factors. WWW brought created a huge amount of difference in performing our day-to-day activities. ICTs also brought a huge difference in the way of creation, processing and delivery of information in today’s world. The present-day education emphasizes upon matters concerning web content that are uploaded on the NIBM library websites.
