ABSTRACT:

The psychological distress incidents are thought to be higher for college students especially. for students. The world's population has seen an rise in the effect of unexplained and untreated mental illness on mental wellbeing among college students. The purpose of this research is to define students' degree of psychological well-being. The results of this research showed that among college students respectively, depression, anxiety and stress were found. Students have a relative high susceptibility to depression, tension and anxiety as they experienced psychological distress. The physical, mental and academic consequences of psychological distress are negative. Increased surveillance of the health and well-being of students and their health needs by college administrators and leaders is needed if policymakers are to function from a credible evidence base basis. In the Eastern Mediterranean region in general, cultural factors can offer college students particular attention. The clustering effects suggest a need for the health and well-being profiles in the faculties and colleges as the base and direction of effective health promotion programmes.
