ABSTRACT:

In this study; it waspointed out that majority of parents do discrimination between sons ordaughters. They mostly prefer sons on daughters. Luckily, few did not do genderdiscrimination. They give equal importance to sons and daughters and provideequal attention to their siblings. Some behaviors as pointed out in this studywere very critical. As mentioned above, it was revealed that parents mostly donot arrange tuitions for children. This shows non caring behavior of parentstowards education of their children but on the other hand, some other studieshave advocated that children, who get educational assistance from parents, perform better in school than the students who get educational assistance ofthe others on payment. Educated Parents should try to help their children instudies. This is necessary for good parenting also.
