In the Present Experimental Study, the Effect of Salinewater on the Properties of Concrete Was Investigated. This Paper Presents Theresults of an Experimental Research on the Effect of Different Normality Ofsaline Water on Properties of Concrete. Total 24No of Concrete Cubes Andcylinder Were Casted Using Fresh Water and 0.2N, 0.4N and 0.6N Saline Water Fora Design Mix of M-20 (1:1.5:3) Concrete, and 0.55 W/C Ratio. Concrete Specimenwere Casted and Cured With Fresh Water and Remaining Specimen Were Casted Andcured With Saline Water. the Concrete Cubes Were Tested For 7,14 and 28 Daysrespectively. the Result of the Compressive Strength and Split Tensile Strengthof Concrete Obtained Using Fresh Water at 28Th Day Is 21.22 N/Mm2& 3.225 N/Mm2 and Using Salt Water at 0.2N, 0.4N and 0.6Nresults at 28Th Day Is 21.41 N/Mm2,22.21 N/Mm2& 22.91 N/Mm2.Split Tensile Strength Is 3.239 N/Mm2,3.299 N/Mm2 &3.351 N/Mm2.
