Subsequently, all major national political parties voiced their support for women's quotas instate legislatures and parliament and the Women's Reservation Bill to thatimpact was presented in the Parliament in 1996. Be that as it may some women's groups have received anexceptionally inflexible position in support of the Bill, for all intents andpurpose treating it as sacrosanct and non- debatable. This paper assesses thepart of women's groups in the quota face off regarding and suggests futurestrategy for successfully arranging the issue.
